Even if you haven’t spent much time on a golf course, it’s easy to spot the casual player from the veteran. You can see the precision and you know that their entire body has been conditioned and their muscles have been fine tuned.
There is grace in a solid swing. If we want our ball to fly long and straight, everything from your backswing to the follow through must remain in a straight line, and the slightest waver in balance will throw everything off.
What’s the first thing that pops into your mind when you think about balance? For many, the answer would be yoga. Nothing else tones the core and steadies your body quite like yoga.

1. The Warrior Pose

2. The Tree Pose
The Tree Pose is the iconic yoga pose we have all seen before. One foot is on the ground, the other rests on your other knee, all while your hand extent toward the ceiling. Again, a better explanation can be found HERE.
3. The Half Moon Pose
The Half Moon Pose will have you leaning over on one foot while holding the other out straight and parallel to the floor. One hand will reach the ground to help stabilize your weight. Finally, find detailed instructions HERE.
